Before sending your application, you must read and agree to the declaration displayed on Apply. When you agree to the declaration, you agree that we and the universities and colleges can process your information and keep a copy of your application to collect statistics and to detect and prevent fraud.
The Data Protection Act 1998 allows you to ask us for a copy of all the information we have about your application. We charge £10 for this service to cover administrative costs. If you would like a copy of your information, please write to us giving your full name, address, and Personal ID, and send us a cheque or postal order for £10, payable to UCAS. Applications are kept at UCAS for three years.

To pay by credit or debit card, phone our Customer Service Unit. You'll need your Personal ID and will have to answer some security questions.
General and sales information:
From time to time the UCAS Group of Companies may send you general information by post, email or SMS, such as (without limitation), information relating to health issues; or career information which is relevant to your chosen subjects.
In addition, and from time to time, the UCAS Group of Companies would also like to send you sales or promotional information ("sales information") about (without limitation):

The UCAS group of companies work with a range of third party companies to bring you discounts, offers, career information, graduate placements and news about products particularly of interest to students.
In addition, if you find yourself without a place, we may send tailored information from universities and colleges that have spaces available at certain times of the year.
Your preferences below do not affect us contacting you in connection with your UCAS application. They only relate to communications from other companies and tailored information from universities and colleges.
